Whether you’re heading to Gulf Shores, Garden City Beach or Cooperstown, here are the answers to the questions guests ask most before a stay with Dream Vacation Days.
What time are check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4pm and check-out is by 10am at all three homes. Your exact arrival details are confirmed after you book. If you’re hoping to arrive early or leave a little later, it’s always worth asking.
How does check-in work?
Every home has self check-in. Shore Haven has a keypad that works 24 hours a day, and Surf Haven and Field of Dreams have smart locks. Detailed instructions are sent before you arrive, so there’s no key pickup and no waiting around.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. All three homes welcome pets, and there’s no special request to make. It does help to mention them when you book, and to check the local beach rules for dogs in Gulf Shores and Garden City Beach, which vary by season.
What’s provided?

You bring the food and the swimwear.
Is there a pool?
Field of Dreams has a private heated pool. Surf Haven guests can use a community pool that’s heated from April 1 to October 31. At Shore Haven, the Gulf is right off the deck.
Who can book?
The primary renter needs to be at least 25, and all three homes are non-smoking. The homes have stairs and aren’t wheelchair accessible, so if anyone in your group has mobility needs, get in touch and Sandra will talk you through the layout.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Cancel more than 30 days before arrival and 97% of your payment is refunded. The full terms are shown before you book.
